London RCE meeting at LSBU in December 2013

???????????????????????A Partners /Steering Group meeting of the London Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) took place at London South Bank University (LSBU) on 6 December 2013.

Representatives from education, charity and business sectors were present at this meeting. A key item of discussion was the forthcoming London RCE Conference on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) London: Supporting employability, society and the environment: a curriculum for sustainability, which will be held at LSBU on 10 June 2014.

Towards the end of the meeting, Dr Lorna Down from The University of the West Indies, joined the meeting as a guest. She was the key speaker at the public talk that followed, presented by the London RCE (Regional Centre of Expertise) on ESD in association with the Weeks Centre for Social and Policy Research at LSBU. The talk on Re-engaging with the Common Good through education for sustainable development (ESD) was the second in a in a London-wide discussion series on Political Action and Education for Sustainability.
